Flatt Energy Cola

There are a countless number of different types of energy drinks, yet of them all, cola energies are my favorite.

Just think about it. Soda was the first energy drink, starting with Pepsi® or Coca Cola®. Then that wasn’t enough and Mountain Dew® came along to energize people.

Yet then Mountain Dew wasn’t enough, and people wanted more caffeine! So it just makes sense to continue catering to people’s need to get through the day with a more energized cola.

So needless to say, I’m more than eager to try the Flatt Energy Cola that was sent out to me by the company.

Taste

As I pop the top of this 8oz Flatt Cola, I get a familiar scent, not of an energy drink, but of a can of Coke. Good start! As I try it, a smile builds across my face. When the powered cola hits my taste buds, I find it’s nearly identical in taste to your normal Coca Cola, yet it’s the second half of the taste that makes the drink.

The drink starts as a Coca Cola twin, yet transfers to more of a frozen coke syrup taste (a sweeter cola) without the brain freeze. Making Flatt a great drink to go along with dinner or a good flavor pick me up.

Flatt Cola Ingredients

The ingredients in Flatt are nearly identical to what you will find in any 8 oz energy cola. 110 calories from the 28g of sugar. Caffeine is a solid 65mg per can. I did notice they threw in a bit of vitamin C which makes Flatt a bit different.

Effect

The effect was somewhere between a regular soda and an 8oz energy drink. I did get a rush, but nothing to much and nothing lasting more than 30 minutes or so.

Flatt Cola Verdict

Yes, the energy level wasn’t the highest I ever had, yet the taste of Flatt Energy Cola was much better than most. This is definitely an everyday energy cola. I can drink it with a meal or in-between meals for an added boost.

You could even drink Flatt as a dessert. Sweet enough without being too sweet. Just to put it simply, I am a Big fan of Flatt Energy Cola. A better choice then Rockstar Cola or Red Bull Cola.
