Go Fast! Energy Gum
Go Fast Energy Gum is marketed as a gum that has as much caffeine as one 8.4 ounce regular energy drink. I tried Go Fast Gum after getting a free sample at a local festival.
Pretty Flavorful At First
This cherry flavored gum is pretty flavorful at first and they did a nice job of covering up most of the caffeine's bitterness. However, in about 5 minutes, the flavor is gone and the gum is pretty tasteless. I would expect that all of the caffeine is removed by then anyway.
Go Fast Gum's Effect
I felt a definite lift from Go Fast Energy Gum. Since the caffeine is being absorbed by the lining of the mouth, the effects are felt much quicker than by drinking an energy drink. I like that the gum is mainly sweetened with xylitol, which is probably the healthiest of the sugar substitutes. For those that want a quick hit of caffeine, Go Fast Gum is perfect, but for those that want hours or chewing enjoyment look to Extra. How does Go Fast compare to other energy gums?
