Viter Energy Mints are sugar-free mints made by The BSD Project Company.
They are a blend of wintergreen mint flavor, caffeine and B vitamins.
The company recently sent us some samples for review.
Viter Energy Mint Review
I love a strong mint like Altoids and I was really pleased when I tried Viter for the first time.
It is a really strong wintergreen flavored mint! I've sampled a lot of energy mints during my time at Caffeine Informer and Viter is up there with the best, if not THE best tasting.
If you love strong mints, then Viter delivers.
Energy Ingredients
Each mint contains:
- Caffeine 40 mg
- Niacin: 7 mg or 35% DV
- Vitamin B6: 3.5 mg or 175% DV
- Folate: 170 mcg or 43% DV
- Vitamin B12: 21 mcg or 350% DV
Plus, strong mint has been shown to immediatly produce feelings of alertness and stimulation.
Because of the intense wintergreen flavor, the energy ingredients are almost completely undetectable.
Effect
The caffeine effects from Viter Energy Mints set in pretty quickly since some of the caffeine is entering the bloodstream transdermally.
However, it took two mints for me to achieve the sense of alertness I was looking for.
Viter warns consumers not to have more than 5 mints per hour (200 mg of caffeine) or 10 mints a day (400 mg of caffeine). This is in line with our adult recommended safe dose of caffeine standards.
These mints aren't recommended for those under the age of 18.
Overall, Viter Energy Mints offer a way to freshen your breath, invigorate your senses, and help you to be more alert to perform whichever task you have at hand.
The only thing I would like to see are more flavors, but perhaps they will be coming soon.
