Death Wish Coffee
Death Wish Coffee is said to be the world's strongest coffee.
It is made from robusta coffee beans which are much higher in caffeine than Arabica coffee beans. Arabica is the coffee generally used in most commercial coffees and coffee houses.
Deathwish Coffee had samples of their coffee tested at EMSL Food Chemistry Lab in 2015. The lowest result was 200mg/100ml of brewed Death Wish and the highest result was 210mg/100ml. Above, we list the average which would be 205mg/100ml.
It has come to our attention that recent tests conducted by SDS Agri Food Laboratory have found Death Wish Coffee to contain significantly less caffeine than what the last test conducted by EMSL determined.
As with all coffees, the caffeine content of Death Wish will vary depending on brewing method chosen and growing conditions of the coffee sourced.
Warning!
This stuff is serious folks! Do not treat it like regular coffee. While their website may have warnings and state the 200% more caffeine disclaimer, those purchasing from Amazon do not get such warning. One consumer found out the hard way. Here's her experience...
I bought Deathwish Coffee off of Amazon after a friend told me about it. The advertising said it was organic and Fair trade, so I thought, "how bad could it be?" I drank it for three weeks and then I had my first ever full blown panic attack. I have never been sick, never taken a prescription pill and I don't even have a doctor. I put the connection together it was from the coffee, so I quit cold turkey. I went 8 full days with absolutely no sleep. After day 4, I went to emergency to get something to sleep and had another panic attack. They Pink slipped me, where they said they were required to seperate me from my husband and take me to a psych ward where I was in a room with twelve people who were having serious mental issues. It's been a month and I have still not slept more than 4 hours, but it's usually just 2 hours a night. It has ruined my life and I am trying to get my life pulled back together. Please stay away from this coffee. -Lis Roebuck
Note: Lis consumed Death Wish at the same amount as she did her regular coffee which was a full pot a day.
Consumers must also follow Death Wish Coffee's brewing instructions to arrive at the advertised caffeine content. They recommend using 2 1/2 tablespoons of finely ground coffee per 6 fl oz of water.
This coffee is only for those who have a tolerance for caffeine and who can handle high amounts of caffeine.
This just may be the strongest coffee in the world.
