SPIKE Shooter Energy Drink is a concentrated energy supplement made by Biotest.
This drink started in the diet supplement industry but there has been some cross-over to the RTD energy drink market.
Spike Shooter's Stimulants
SPIKE Shooter contains a Proprietary Blend (see ingredients below). The blend contains:
- The amino acid L-Tyrosine in as the first on the list. Tyrosine may be a mild central nervous system stimulant and some research suggests that N-acetyl-L-Tyrosine may have even more of a stimulant effect. Tyrosine in capsule form is usually around the 250-750mg dosage.
- Yohimbine is an unusual candidate for an energy drink - as it is used to treat impotence. Dosages are very low (2-5mg).
- Caffeine concentrated to 300mg/ 8.4 floz or 35.7 mg/ floz.
- B12
WARNINGS (from the can): Do not use if you are under the age of 16 or elderly. This product contains strong stimulants and should not be combined with any other stimulant or fat-loss product.
RECOMMENDED USE: Begin use with one-half can to daily to determine tolerance. Never exceed one can daily.
