Vis Viva Energy Drink Review

I received this new energy drink, Vis Viva, that I’ve never heard of and don’t think I can even pronounce, yet we all have a job to do so let’s dive in and explore this new drink.

The can says low calories and no sugar added, is it doomed already?

Taste

Vis Viva’s taste was a little better then expected. It felt pretty smooth with a little hint of raspberry. Not a forced raspberry flavor, but just enough to make it seem like a 2nd thought. Vis Viva’s after taste has a bit sour/bitter which was a bit of a distraction, yet didn’t really take away from the overall taste of the drink.

Vis Viva Ingredients

Could be the closest thing you’re going to get to a “healthy” energy drink. Vis Viva only has 25 calories and 5 grams of sugar from the 15% Juice. Also packed within the drink is 100% of your daily value of Vitamin C, B5, B6, B12 and Niacin. Yet come on people, its still a energy drink, so of course Vis Viva contains your classic energy drink ingredients such as caffeine (50mg), Taurine, and Guarana. Overall, pretty weak in regards to all the amounts of energy enhancing ingredients.

Effect

Didn’t find a large boost from the drink, yet I did get a little uplift which lasted a couple hours and disappeared without any sign or feelings of a crash. Very refreshing lift, similar to a 5 hour energy in regards to the end of your energy boost.

Verdict

As for a verdict on Vis Viva, I think one can is enough for me. I do like that it had very little sugar and calories, yet didn’t feel that the taste was enough to keep me coming back for that healthy kick. The taste was nothing special and with only a moderate energy boost at best, I’ll treat Vis Viva energy drink like an ex-girlfriend, it was ok while it lasted, but now its time to move on, no hard feelings…
